Fischer Aviation is a flight school operating out of Essex County Airport (KCDW) in NJ. With two Piper Cherokees and a Cessna 172, the school is able to provide Private Pilot and Instrument Training to its students. They turned to Altum Design to build them a site that would not only attract students to the school, but also provide a valuable source of information for people who want to learn to fly.
TechLaunch
TechLaunch is a NJ-based technology accelerator that invests $18,000 into startup companies and works with entrepreneurs over the course of a 12-week bootcamp. We built the site to help TechLaunch market the program to entrepreneurs and collect applications. The site conforms to HTML5 standards and has built in mobile-capability.
Center for Italian and Italian American Culture
The Center’s goals include increasing membership, increasing revenue through event attendance and increasing donations. Altum Design built a website that helps the organization achieve those goals. Prospective members can now connect with the Center through various social media, read about the organization’s offerings, and apply easily. Visitors to the site can now view an up-to-date calendar of events and register online with a few clicks. Donating to the Center is just as easy!
The site also includes a gallery of images, a newsletter sign-up form, and automatic posting to Facebook and Twitter. All of it is easily managed by the in-house staff.
Advanced Technology Search
Advanced Technology Search is a leading recruiter in RF Wireless and Defense Electronics job opportunities. The site features an easy-to-navigate and easy-to-post job board where ATS can detail their numerous job orders. Each job is classified by Location, Education, Salary, Industry and more. Team Member functionality allows ATS to easily route responses to job order to the appropriate recruiter. Tight integration with Indeed.com and with social media such as Linkedin helps to bring more resumes to the organization while requiring no extra operational costs.

This site was specifically designed to show how quality at Bell Container Corp is of the utmost importance. The site projects accurate dimensions and the proper equipment used to meet the customers every need. We finally reassured customers that Bell Container is not only a trustworthy company but a professional company with proper ISO 9001:2008 and SFI/CoC Certification.
Visual Alchemy
Visual Alchemy is a leader in Film Production. We created this site to show how easy it is to do business with Visual Alchemy. Their catalog is fully developed with products ranging from LCD Monitors to Professional Cameras. Keeping the catalog updated and encouraging contact with the customer are key elements that help this business grow.
The website also helps Visual Alchemy manage their inventory. We heavily customized WordPress to not only keep track of over 1000 products, but also allow warehouse workers to barcode and scan every item that comes in and out of the warehouse.
NJ Italy Trade Council
The NJITC website is an extensive informational site with over 150 pages presented in both English and Italian. It has a page of 30 videos, presentations, and bios that help to present information from the organization’s recent Symposium. Recently added is an easy-to-use database of over 15,000 companies in New Jersey and Italy. The organization, commissioned under former Governor Jon Corzine, seeks to facilitate trade between New Jersey and Italy.
Mid Atlantic Pilots Association
We helped MAPA streamline the management of its website. Making use of multiple users and roles, we were able to decentralize the updates to the website, allowing individual board members to post at will and removing the webmaster bottleneck, which keeps the website content updated and relevant.
Ridge Restaurant
Ridge Restaurant is a family restaurant with great hospitality towards all guests. Their site has been designed to incorporate tradition and their love for food. The redesign of the website called for the integration of social media such as Yelp and Facebook, as well as a refreshing newsletter. This is the best way for customers to find out the latest deals that Ridge has to offer.
Cucina della Terra
Cucina della Terra provides culinary vacations to Italy. Integration of Twitter, Facebook, a Blog and a Newsletter help Chef Gerri attract more vacation go-ers and foodies.
Cedar Grove Ambulance & Rescue Squad
The website was built for CGARS, a non-profit all volunteer emergency services organization in Cedar Grove, NJ. It allows visitors to donate online and write a message on the recognition wall. Over 50 squad members have individual logins and are able to access members-only content. The site also features photo galleries fully managed by squad members.
eMazzanti Technologies
We built an extensive site with over 1000 pages to market eMazzanti Technologies, a computer networking and business solutions company. The site is completely integrated with eMazzanti’s social media sites and makes management of their social media marketing plan very simple. Anything posted to the website is automatically published to both Facebook and Twitter. Furthermore, any video the company posts to YouTube automatically shows up on the site, making management simple.
